Product Information
There are commercially viable tuna species packed by Thai
packers. There are, in order of importance, Skipjack, Yellowfin,
Albacore, Tongol and Bonito. The first 3 species are usually
imported from the Western Pacific Ocean and the Indian Ocean.
Tongol and Bonito are locally caught in the Gulf of Thailand
and the Andaman Sea.
