A. Import
Permit
|

Description :
|
All
restricted plants must be accompanied by an import permit.
An exception is for imported plants in a form of foodstuff,
medical researches, and industrial purposes. |

B. Phytosanitary
Certificate
|

Description :
|
1)
The phytosanitary certificate applies to plants, roots,
beats, seeds, grains, fruit, nuts, and vegetables. |
| 2)
A postal delivery of any agricultural products requires
that either the original or a copy of the original phytosanitary
certificate be attached on each postal package. |
| 3)
For a containerized shipment, only one phytosanitary certificate
is necessary. |
| 4)
The goods must be exported within 15 days, from the issue
date of the certificate. |
| 5)
A post-entry quarantine is required only to the imported
plants intended for further cultivation in the USA. |
