Description :

An
import permit is required only for the importation of
prohibited plants into each European Union member countries. |

B. Phytosanitary
Certificate
|
|
Description :
|
1)
The phytosanitary certificate is required for every imported
plants and agricultural product. Canned goods and frozen
food are exempted. |
| 2)
Every plant and agricultural product that falls under
the EU Plant Passport list must be accompanied by a phytosanitary
certificate. Inter-European Union trade is exempted. |

C. Importation
|

General Information :
|
1)
Prohibited products include soil, growing media, barks,
peats, humus, and any plant-related organic substances. |
| 2)
Restricted products include saccharine, artificial sweetener,
and derivative plant species. These products must not
be used as ingredients for imported foodstuff. |

Fruits & Vegetables Commodities
Classes :
|
Prohibited products include Grapes (Vitis spp.),
Citrus family fruits (Citrus spp., Fortunella,
Poncitus), and the seeds of Solanum tuberosum
potato species. |
