Herbs&Spices Environment
In the past, herb & spice plants grow
naturally in places where environmental factors are suitable
for each plant type. However, the proliferation of herbs&spices
usage / consumption has tremendously reduced the number of
naturally-grown plants. As a result, more people turn to cultivate
herbs&spices both in a household and commercial scale.
Regardless of the scale of cultivation, herbs&spices require
a suitable growing environment, the one similar to the mother
nature. Four major environmental factors that growers must
consider when growing herbs&spices include growing area,
temperature, lighting, and irrigation.
