Land Preparation
Before an actual seeding of herbs&spices seeds, growers
must match the growing cycle of each type of plant with the
growing period. For each plantation, the land piece undergoes
plowing in order to break up stiff chunks of the soil and
eliminates weeds. Then, fertilizer is applied as the last
step, for soil enrichment.
Several growing methods may be used, depending on the plant
type and parts of the plant. Growers need to take a special
care when cultivating for roots, beats, or rhizomes of the
plant. In this case, the soil must be plowed until it becomes
thoroughly loosened. For the best result, growers may transplant
the plant roots in another container.
