How to
become a rice exporter in Thailand
1. Apply for
an exporter license in rice trade. There are three types of
exporting licenses as follows:
| 1.1 General rice export
|

***In case of Company Limited or Public
Company Limited
|
|
Document required :
|
1) Certificate
of Corporate Registration on Company or Public Company
Limited from Registration Office. This document must be
submitted, along with the application, within 30 days. |
| 2) Lists of Shareholders. |
| 3) A copy of Common
Stock Certificate, showing a registered capital of exceeding
5 million baht. |
| 4) A copy of a
Certificate from Customs Dept., specifically issued for
a company that owns a rice warehouse. |

***Incase of a state enterprise (not
a company limited)
|
|
Document required :
|
Certificate of
State Registration (under supervision of a specific department),
showing lists of authorized committees and the objective(s)
for exporting rice. This document must also be sumitted,
along with the application, within 30 days. |

***Incase of a state enterprise (company
limited)
|
|
Document required:
|
Certificate of
State Enterprise Registration, stating the objective(s)
for exporting rice. This document must also be submitted,
along with the application, within 30 days. |

***In case of Cooperative or Agricultural
Community
|
|
Document required:
|
1) A copy of Cooperative
Registration. |
| 2) Cooperative
Certificate (under supervision of a related department),
showing lists of authorized committees and cooperative
objective(s) for exporting rice. This document must be
submitted, along with the application, within 30 days. |
