Rice Nutrition Facts

 

Chicken Rice Soup
Ingredients
1/2 cup raw rice
2 cups water
1/4 cup chicken meat or ground pork
1 table spoon fish sauce
1 egg
1 tea spoon chopped ginger
1 tea spoon chopped green onions
1/2 tsp chopped coriander leaves
 
How to Cook
Place raw rice in a cooking pot. Rinse this rice in tap water once.
Boil the rinsed raw rice in 2 cups of water until thoroughly cooked.
Remove cooked rice from the stove. Mash the rice and set aside.
In another pot, boil chicken bones in 1 cup of water for 5 minutes.
Discard the bones and add the cooked rice into the pot with, now, the chicken broth.
Allow the rice to boil for 2 mins. Add chicken and pork meat into the pot.
Season the rice with fish sauce.
In a serving bowl, place a raw egg at the bottom, before pouring the boiling rice soup over it.
Add pepper to taste.
Garnish the rice soup with ginger and green onions.
