PESTS
A number of pests including several
kinds of scale, palm aphid, spider mites, mealybugs,
palm weevils and caterpillars are occasionally found
but usually do not require control measures. Coconut
scale occasionally may cause extensive damage and heavy
infestations should be controlled by appropriate measures.
