Containers
for the coconut meal as livestock feed shall be
clean, in good conditions, without abnormal odour,
durable and completely sealed. |

Net
weight content of each container shall not be less
than that declared on the label. |

7.1 |
Labelling
shall comply with TIS 31-1973, Standard for General
Principles of Labelling Industrial Products. |

7.2 |
At
least there shall be figures, letters or mark indicating
the following information clearly and legibly shown
on each container.
(1) Name of product "Coconut meal or copra meal
or oil cake or pellets as livestock feed"
(2) Class declared by the word -"Expeller" or "Hydraulic"
or "Rotary" which ever is the case.
(3) Type declared by the word "Meal" or "Cake" or
"Pellet" or "Extraction" whichever is the case.
(4) Net weight in SI units
(5) Manufacturing date
(6) Name of manufacturer or factory or trade mark
or name of packer or distributor
(7) Country of origin
In the case foreign language is used, the meaning
shall correspond to that in Thai. |

7.3 |
Any
person who manufactures the industrial products
complying with this Standard may use the Standards
Mark in connection with his products only after
having received a license from the Industrial Product
Standards Council. |

8.1 |
LOT:
The coconut meal or copra meal or oilcake or pellets
as livestock feed manufactured at the same time. |

8.2 |
Sampling
8.2.1 The sampling shall be drawn randomly from
the same lot as the method specified in Table
2. |

8.3 |
Preparation
of the composite sample Sample drawn from each selected
container shall be mixed together. If necessary,
additional samples shall be taken to make up the
total weight of 3 kg. In case the total weight exceeds
3 kg, the sample shall be decreased to 3 kg by quartering
method. This sample shall be then divided into 3
equal portions, kept in a clean and hermetically
sealed container and labelled with names of collectors
and sampling date. One of these samples shall be
used for analysis and the other two for the referees

8.4 |
Criteria
for conformity The lot shall be considered as complying
with this standard provided that the sample collected
as clause 8.3 meets all the requirements given in
clause 4 when tested and analysed as clause 9. |
