Major importing countries
The EU, the world’s biggest tapioca importer, is a major buyer
of Thai tapioca pellets, while Japan, Taiwan and South Korea
principally import tapioca starch. Other important tapioca importers
include China, Indonesia, South Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines,
the US, Hong Kong and Singapore.
